AD-7: Amy Slavensky

Amy Slavensky is a lifelong educator who spent 40 years in California public schools as a teacher, principal and superintendent, including deputy superintendent at San Juan Unified. Born and raised in Fair Oaks and Carmichael, she grew up relying on food stamps and Medi-Cal and paid her own way through college. She's running to protect public education, lower the cost of healthcare and housing, and make Sacramento work for the working families of Assembly District 7.
